Hudson Australia is seeking a skilled Transformation Portfolio Manager to join their Better Portfolio and Contract Management Project in Brisbane CBD.

Salary

A competitive hourly rate of $1,384 inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading will be offered to the successful candidate.

Job Description

As a Transformation Portfolio Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining project schedules and tracking progress across all workstreams. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and updating project schedules, coordinating with workstream/work-package leads to track deliverables, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Tracking and reporting on overall project health, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality metrics.
  • Identifying, documenting, and managing project risks and issues, working with workstream leads and the project team to develop mitigation strategies.

You will engage with workstream leads, monitor project health, identify risks and issues, and provide timely updates to senior stakeholders. This role is key to maintaining project momentum, coordinating efforts across the program, and ensuring that the transition is executed effectively and efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in project management or PMO roles, ideally within large-scale transformation or transition programs.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, MS Suite, JIRA) with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and optimize their use for project delivery.
  • Proven expertise in project governance and reporting, including development of project status reports, dashboards, and senior stakeholder (Executive, Board) level reporting.
