Property Network of Australia is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join their team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and compliance requirements of the company's properties are met, while assisting the Senior Facilities Manager in managing various projects across the property portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all planned and reactive facilities management across the property portfolio.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Workplace Health & Safety and statutory regulations, including managing incident reporting and contractor inductions.
  • Assisting with the management of capital works, fit-outs, and building projects, ensuring projects are completed within budget and timelines.
  • Conducting regular audits and assessments of facilities, ensuring best practices in sustainability, including achieving NABERS Energy and Water targets.
  • Managing tenant communications related to ongoing maintenance and project work.
  • Managing budgets for operational and capital expenditures, ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Developing and implementing standard operating procedures to enhance the overall management and sustainability of the property portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Experience in facilities management, preferably within the retail or commercial sector.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and workplace safety requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to managing both routine and emergency situations.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with contractors, tenants, and other stakeholders.
  • Ambitious, motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with sustainability initiatives, including energy and water efficiency programs.
