Prevention Strategies Specialist

The role involves researching emerging trends and issues related to domestic and family violence, as well as vulnerable persons.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop evaluation plans for Domestic, Family Violence and Vulnerable Persons Command programs
  • Provide support to senior officers in representing the Service on issues relating to domestic and family violence and vulnerable persons
  • Liaise with agencies whose policies or practices affect the service
  • Prepare submissions and recommendations on policy development
  • Represent the service on national or state committees and forums
