We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Prevention Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining infection prevention and control programs, ensuring a safe and quality environment within the hospital.
This role will act as a resource for all clinical and non-clinical departments in areas related to infection control prevention and management.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain effective infection prevention and control programs
- Support the growth and development of staff in infection control roles
- Develop and implement strategies to promote hand hygiene and reduce healthcare-associated infections
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse
- Experience in infection control or desire to enhance and develop infection control skills
- High level critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
