As a Procurement Specialist, Technology and Digital, you will be responsible for managing effective and compliant procurement of goods and services such as hardware, software, licenses, and ICT contractor personnel. The role requires collaboration with technology managers and Senior Executive Leaders to deliver contract management and procurement solutions that meet business objectives and ensure value for money.The Role
  • You will work on procuring and managing contracts for technology and digital services, ensuring that the organization gets the best value for its investment.
  • Provide advice and guidance on procurement strategy, preparing and finalising approval documentation, preparing and finalising tender and contract documentation.
  • Assess and report on procurement risks, manage tender evaluations, and drive project delivery within tight timeframes.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their business needs are understood and stakeholders are kept informed on the progress of their projects.
The Ideal PersonTo be successful in this role, you must have experience in managing end-to-end procurements in a Commonwealth Government environment, as well as an active Baseline security clearance. You should also have experience using Government Panels like Digital Transformation Agency Marketplace, Software Marketplace, and Hardware Marketplace.
  • Proven track record in interpreting and applying the Commonwealth Procurement Rules framework and PGPA legislation.
  • An ability to navigate complex technology landscapes, execute procurement strategies, and deliver optimal outcomes for business areas.
  • Excellent communication skills for simplifying complex concepts and influencing decision-makers.
  • Experience in resolving complex client and stakeholder queries.
