Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Procurement Specialist (APS 6 Equivalent)

This is a long-term contract role for 12 months with 1 x 12-month extension, located at our client's ACT office with hybrid working arrangements (2 days from home)

As the selected candidate, you will:

• Manage ICT-related procurements in accordance with government frameworks

• Conduct procurement activities using best practices and sound judgment

• Identify, manage, and mitigate procurement risks to meet organisational obligations and optimise business outcomes

• Provide high-level advice on procurement-related matters across the Information Services Division

• Work flexibly and apply critical thinking within a team experiencing change

To be successful in this role you should have:

• Demonstrated experience in Government procurement

• Sound knowledge and application of procurement frameworks including PGPA Act and CPR

• Ability to manage end-to-end ICT procurement processes including software renewals and ICT labour hire

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Effective record management and shared mailbox handling

It is desirable if you have:

• Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting (PSP40616)

• Understanding of the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) guidelines and sourcing through DTA portals

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with Baseline security clearance.
