Project HSE Coordinator

ADC Constructions is a leading industry professional and a forward-thinking business. We are seeking a dedicated Project HSE Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a high-profile education project.

  • The project is based on the Gold Coast and will also work across other projects in the region.
  • You will assist in the safe and successful delivery of site works in line with our proven framework for quality and efficiency, "The ADC Way"

Responsibilities:

">
  • Review documents and plans that govern project delivery.
  • Provide input into the HSE and quality plans and ensure they are in line with project, business, and legislative requirements.
  • Coordinate with the project manager and site manager to ensure the project is adequately resourced with personnel of appropriate competency to deliver the project HSE and quality plans.
  • Assist in communicating the requirements of the project plans to the wider project team, and proactively provide support in implementing the plans.
  • Undertake HSE and quality inspections and assessments. Report, document, and identify actions as necessary, and ensure they are implemented.

Requirements:

  • Cert IV WHS – Minimum
  • Management system software experience e.g. Hammertech (preferable)
  • Proven experience as an HSE Advisor or similar role within the commercial construction space
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong commitment to fostering a safety-first culture within the workplace
