Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HSE Coordinator to join our organization in the Gold Coast region. As an HSE Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies and procedures in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures that align with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Conducting regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver effective HSE training programs.
  • Investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend preventative measures.
  • Maintaining accurate records of HSE incidents, actions, and compliance documentation.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, new regulations, and best practices to continually enhance our HSE program.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record as an HSE Coordinator or similar role, preferably in construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and national HSE regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify risks and devise appropriate strategies.
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or a related field is a plus.
