Job Title: Youth Justice Case Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Justice Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to provide community-based supervision and case management services for young people appearing before or sentenced by the Children's Court.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing case management services to young people and their families, conducting assessments and interventions relevant to the background and needs of the young person, negotiating effectively with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions, and working collaboratively with the Youth Justice Team to achieve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide case management services to young people and their families

Requirements:

  • A passion for contributing to the rehabilitation of young people in the justice system
  • Understanding of the youth justice system and associated policies and guidelines
  • Knowledge of case management principles and practices
  • Empathy and cultural awareness
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Services Work
  • Full driver's licence
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) card
