We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Learning Assistant to join our team. As an integral part of our early childhood education program, you will play a vital role in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging learning experiences for young children.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters social, emotional, and developmental growth in children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of young learners.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, adhering to established protocols and policies.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, promoting open communication and collaboration.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
- Contribute to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
- Support children's physical, social, and emotional well-being through creative activities and interventions.
- Diploma-level qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid certification.
- Demonstrated experience working in early childhood settings, showcasing ability to adapt to diverse child-centered environments.
- Strong understanding of EYLF and VEYLDF curriculum frameworks, enabling informed program planning and delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective collaboration with colleagues and families.
- Proficiency in digital tools such as iPads, Seesaw, and Microsoft 365, supporting efficient documentation and record-keeping.
