Quality Assurance Role:
We are seeking an experienced quality inspector to join our engineering team in Melbourne. This is a rare opportunity to work with a well-established business that has a strong history in Defence, Aerospace and other high-end industries.
The company operates a state-of-the-art CNC machine shop and is constantly investing in new technology. As a quality assurance professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the company adheres to ISO 9001:2000 standards through first-off and sample inspections, equipment calibration, work instructions, inspection plans and regular audits.
To succeed in this role, you should have trade or engineering qualifications and experience in hands-on quality inspection. You must also have excellent communication skills and proficiency in Cosmos or PC Dmis software.
This is a long-term opportunity ideal for someone with a background in CNC machining who is looking for a rewarding role with a stable company.
Responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting all aspects of QA including first-off and sample inspections
- Calibrating equipment to ensure accuracy
- Creating and maintaining work instructions and inspection plans
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2000 standards
