Due to an increase in construction projects in the Metro Melbourne Area, we have a highly desirable Quality Assurance Inspector opportunity to work on unique critical home builds supporting our Site Managers.

Reporting to the Area Warranty Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Ensure that the Quality Assurance inspection is carried out at the relevant Build stages and that the report is signed dated and submitted
- Be aware of all allocated/random inspections commencement and completion dates
- Ensure that we maintain a good working relationship with all our suppliers and subcontractors when interaction occurs whilst on job sites
- Be aware of current industry standards and requirements to ensure Metricon Homes is not disadvantaged or out of touch in any way
- Promote and observe Company Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures; and
- Ensure that our customers are treated with respect and their queries/ concerns are addressed with a sense of urgency.

- Working knowledge of residential home volume building industry is highly desirable
- Completion of relevant tertiary education e.g. Building/Construction Diploma or of a trade/building background
- Able to complete Quality Assurance Checks within specified timeframes
- Able to promote and observe Company Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Have a thorough exposure to process improvement along with solid practical experience in working with quality programs
- Outstanding customer service with professional communication skills (both written and verbal)
- An understanding of Australia Standards, NCC's and building regulations; and
- Knowledge of electronic project management systems.
