Job Title: Support Worker

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to champion human rights and drive positive change in our community. The ideal candidate will advocate for the rights, dignity, and equality of adults, young people, and children with disabilities and complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advocate for the rights, dignity, and equality of clients with disabilities and complex care needs
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans to meet individual needs and aspirations
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS TO PROMOTE INCLUSION AND INDEPENDENCE
  • Manage complex behaviors and understand Personalized Behavior Supports Plans (PBSPs)
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience supporting participants with complex care needs
  • Passionate about human rights and driving positive change
  • Empathetic, compassionate, and understanding of diverse experiences
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on listening and responding to customer needs
  • A team player, enthusiastic about collaboration and sharing best practices
