Mental Health Support Specialist

Seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to provide emotional support, guidance, and coping strategies to individuals facing mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer one-on-one mentoring sessions, providing emotional support and guidance.
- Assist clients in identifying their mental health goals and developing action plans.
- Promote well-being and social inclusion.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients to express themselves openly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Provide resources, referrals, and tools.
- Track and document client progress while ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
- Stay informed about mental health challenges affecting various communities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a mentoring or mental health support role.
- Strong understanding of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma, with cultural context.
- Empathetic, patient, and able to establish strong client relationships.
- Knowledge of behavioral health programs and therapeutic interventions is beneficial.
- Excellent communication, written, and verbal skills, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
