
Mental Health Specialist

We have multiple opportunities available for experienced mental health professionals to support a network of public hospitals and health services in regional and remote Western Australia.
This role is ideal for those passionate about promoting health and well-being of children, families and specific community groups using a range of strategies focusing on the social determinants of health.
The OpportunityChoose your preferred region and be allocated to work at sites within that region, supporting communities living in regional and remote WA.
Enjoy the flexibility to choose short or long fixed-term contracts, work a rotating 24/7 roster and be rewarded with excellent remuneration + penalty rates + bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote health and well-being of children, families and specific community groups using various strategies focusing on the social determinants of health.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to provide high-quality care and support.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in mental health nursing.
- Minimum 2 years full-time post-graduate experience (3-4 years' experience is preferred).
- Minimum 2 years background in Mental Health Nursing Care.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse; unrestricted and unconditional.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 8 weeks.
- Short and long fixed-term contracts available – your choice.
