Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the ongoing improvements to finance systems, processes, and capabilities throughout our organization. The successful candidate will foster knowledge sharing, elevate team digital and analytical skills, and drive innovation to boost efficiency.

The role involves leading the design and implementation of finance process improvements, ensuring alignment with best practices and compliance requirements. This includes championing the adoption of AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, forecasting, and transactional processes.

You will provide performance reporting and high-level critical analysis and specialist advice on financial results, divisional initiatives, projects, and related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement finance process improvements
  • Lead the adoption of AI and automation tools
  • Provide performance reporting and financial analysis
Requirements:
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with accounting systems
  • Demonstrated experience in finance transformation, business process improvement, or systems implementation within a large corporate or government environment
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of management accounting principles, financial operations, and reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in AI, automation, and digital tools (e.g., Power BI, machine learning, or large language models)
Essential Qualifications:
  • Tertiary degree in accounting, business, technology, or commerce
Non-Essential Qualifications:
  • Qualified Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accounting, or working towards these qualifications
