We are seeking a skilled Development Associate to join our conservation efforts. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-to mid-career professional to develop their experience and skills in Major Donor Fundraising.

The primary goal of this position is to generate philanthropic support from generous individuals to conserve Australia's endangered wildlife and make a positive impact on its future. You'll be part of a talented team of Development executives committed to raising funds for great conservation outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building relationships with mid-to-major supporters to secure donations
  • Crafting compelling proposals to persuade donors to support our cause
  • Organising bespoke supporter events in unique locations to foster connections and appreciation

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary education qualifications in marketing, communication, business, and fundraising
  • Experience in fundraising is highly desirable
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for saving Australia's wildlife
  • Outstanding presentation skills to inspire audiences and communicate our vision
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
