Job Overview

Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) is the largest private landowner for conservation in Australia, protecting threatened wildlife across a vast 12.9 million hectares of land.

Our science-based model successfully halts the decline of Australia's threatened wildlife and restores our unique biodiversity. With 1,800 animals and plants threatened with extinction, we have ambitious plans to secure their future.

This role plays a vital part in promoting collaboration between our Operations, Science and Fundraising teams. A key objective of this position is to mobilise philanthropic support for Australian Wildlife Conservancy.

Your responsibilities will include recruiting and stewarding an impressive portfolio of supporters, writing compelling proposals, and organising events to engage high net worth individuals and senior decision-makers.

To succeed in this role, you will need exceptional interpersonal skills, staff management skills, and experience engaging with high net worth individuals or senior decision-makers. You must also be able to write compelling proposals, present to audiences and manage complex projects and programs.

You should have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and a valid driver's license. This is a full-time opportunity based in Victoria, working closely with our Development team.
