Caregiver for Complex Needs

Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support two male individuals with unique needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and assistance, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- 7 am to 3 PM
- 3 pm to 7 am (Passive Sleepover)
Customer Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set, including experience in managing medication, seizures, and emotional regulation. Familiarity with mental health support and Supported Independent Living is advantageous. A background in neurofibromatosis is also beneficial for providing comprehensive care and support.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered, applicants must possess:
- Current Working with Children Check (South Australia)
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent experience
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current Manual Handling certificate
- Driver's licence
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module
- NDIS Supporting Safe Meals Training Module
- NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
- Medication Administration Training
- Seizure Management Training
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training
