Strengthening Families Specialist

The Principal Practitioner will play a pivotal role in advancing excellence in Children, Youth and Family services.
This senior position involves providing expert advice on complex cases, escalating risks, and supporting staff through reflective practice, case reviews, secondary consultations, and training.
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience supporting children and young people impacted by complex trauma, utilizing therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches.
A deep understanding of children, youth and family services, from early intervention through to foster and kinship care, is essential.
The successful practitioner will excel at coaching and development, drawing meaningful insights from practice data and recommending improvements at individual, team and system levels.
A collaborative approach is required, working confidently across teams and disciplines to guide high-quality decisions.
