Role Overview

This Clinical Fellow position provides experience and training in Adolescent & Young Adult Oncology. The fellow will have the opportunity to develop age-appropriate oncological care skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Service: Provide medical care to young people under 39 and their families across various tumour streams including sarcoma, testicular, and brain cancers.
  • Clinical Research: Enroll and manage patients in clinical trials. Contribute to adolescent and young adult service development, research, and audits.
  • Education & Training: Attend educational activities. Complete mandated training. Contribute to education of junior staff and students.

The fellowship is embedded within a multidisciplinary team and offers exposure to a range of tumour streams with a focus on developing skills for age-appropriate oncological care.

Requirements:
  • Medical Qualifications registered by AHPRA
  • At least two years of core registrar training in adult or paediatric oncology
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
