Medical Oncology AYA Clinical Fellow Full time – 1 position This Clinical Fellow position provides experience and training in Adolescent & Young Adult Oncology.
The fellowship is embedded within the Victorian AYA Cancer Service and offers exposure to a range of tumour streams, including sarcoma, testicular, and brain cancer, with a focus on developing skills for age-appropriate oncological care.
It provides excellent opportunities for clinical experience, research, teaching, and education, as well as leading quality improvement projects under the supervision of the Adolescent & Young Adult Oncology Leadership Team.
The fellowship is open to both paediatric and adult oncology trainees and can contribute towards the paediatric Developmental and Psychosocial mandatory term or paediatric/adult oncology non-core training.

Clinical Service Provide care to young people under 39 and their families across tumour streams including sarcoma, testicular, and brain cancers.
Participate in AYA clinical services, including triage, transition, and survivorship programs.
Provide outpatient care.
Attend multidisciplinary meetings relevant to AYA care.
Complete documentation accurately and timely.
Participate in peer review activities.
Follow hospital policies and procedures.2.
Clinical Research Enroll and manage patients in clinical trials.
Contribute to AYA service development, research, and audits.3.
Education & Training Attend educational activities.
Complete mandated training.
Contribute to education of junior staff and students.
Participate in training programs.
