Cancer Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Casual Flexi Crew team in Melbourne, Victoria. As a Cancer Care Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.
Key Responsibilities:- To deliver patient-centered care that meets the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients and their families
- To work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- To ensure the safe administration of chemotherapy and related treatments
- To educate patients and families on disease management and treatment options
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Minimum of 1 year's experience post-registration working in oncology/haematology
- Experience with the delivery and management of chemotherapy/immunotherapy infusion practice and/or related cancer treatments
- Completion of recognized chemotherapy course/Anti-cancer administration course (ADAC)
- Current IV cannulation competency
- Competent in Central venous Access Device management (PICC & PORT)
