Leadership Opportunity in Cancer Care

We are dedicated to funding Mc Grath Cancer Care Nurses (MCCNs) who support people with any type of cancer throughout their treatment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced cancer nurse specialist to join our team as a Nurse Clinical Lead. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting and mentoring MCCNs in Victoria, providing clinical knowledge and guidance to ensure the highest standard of care.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia;
  • Tertiary Education qualifications in cancer nursing, ideally at Master level;
  • Minimum 5 years' recent clinical experience caring for people with cancer (solid tumour types);
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities;
  • Ability to develop and deliver program and education content for the Nursing Program team and MCCN cohort.

This is a permanent part-time position, working 4 days per week (0.8 FTE). You must reside in VIC and have cancer nursing experience in VIC. Working remotely is an option with the ability to travel locally/interstate as required.
