Service and Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary

  Execute service work according to agreed workflows and safety guidelines.

  Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers.

  Identify new service business opportunities for Accelleron in close co-operations with customers and other teams.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Field service work / Workshop repairs: Attend site and perform field work, including breakdowns, preventative maintenance, installation, and commissioning.
  • Workshop tasks: Dismantling, assembly, cleaning of parts, using precision equipment and machinery, and applying safety and health rules.
  • Planning/Coordination: Prepare and control all material, equipment, and documentation needed for site activities.
  • Repair: Conduct detailed inventories and inspections to determine necessary maintenance and report.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs equipment and recommends changes to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Prepare technical and work reports to be signed by the customer representative.
  • Customer regulation: Obtain necessary passes or attend classes for commencing works.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical trade certificate or 2 to 3 years' experience working in turbochargers on marine vessels or mechanical fitter or diesel fitter.
  • Experience in rotating machinery service, particularly in turbocharging service.
  • Familiarity with turbochargers is an advantage, as is product service knowledge of various turbocharger types installed on two-stroke or four-stroke engines.
  • Proficiency in operating rotating machinery, such as balancing machines, lathes, and drills, and using metrics and measuring tools.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
