About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a full-time HR Officer based in Quirindi or Tamworth, NSW, to support workforce compliance, policy development, and employee relations within our culturally rich organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with industrial relations and employment laws
  • Support recruitment, retention, and professional development processes
  • Manage and maintain workplace policies and procedures
  • Handle industrial relations and employee relations matters
  • Oversee work cover processes and related compliance
  • Provide HR advice and support to line managers
  • Develop strategies for workforce effectiveness and policy updates
  • Foster positive employee relations and organisational culture

About You:

To qualify, you will need a Diploma or Certificate III/IV in Human Resources or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years experience in a compliance-focused HR role.

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of industrial and employee relations laws and practices
  • Experience handling recruitment, retention, and professional development
  • Strong knowledge of workplace policy development and implementation
  • Familiarity with managing work cover and compliance-related matters
  • Demonstrated ability to support diverse and culturally rich workforces

What We Offer:

A competitive annual salary of $90,000 to $110,000, negotiable based on skills and experience, plus a host of excellent benefits, including superannuation, tax-effective salary packaging options, professional development opportunities, relocation assistance, and sponsorship options.
