Accounting Product Manager Role

No two countries are the same, whether that's invoicing, tax, or compliance. These are the challenges our customers face, and what our products allow them to solve. However, to build these products, we need to understand their problems, and design the right solution. That's where you come in.

As an accounting product manager, you see our customers' challenges as opportunities. You use your knowledge of invoicing, tax, and rules of law to get into the fine detail, and find the solutions others miss. You turn our customers' pain points into articulate requirements, and you work with your team to solve the problems our customers didn't even know they had.

This is a role with a difference. There's no role exactly like it, so it's your transferable skills that matter. You have deep accounting knowledge, but it may be from a background in software design, business analysis, implementation, change management, process engineering, transactional audits, VAT and Invoicing law or any number of other roles. Whatever your background, we need people that can take a research topic from scratch and turn it into a practical design that customers will use. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are very important – being able to explain yourself with an understanding of the causality of your argument is critical to us.

The depth and breadth of accounting features is constantly being expanded to meet the very real accounting needs of multinational businesses operating in a global context. Accounting Product team members draw on their domain knowledge and industry expertise to define and implement features to meet all aspects of Accounting.
