Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of skilled technicians in executing preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and motivating a team of up to 10 technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and policies.

Key responsibilities include delivering and maintaining preventive maintenance programs, managing maintenance related purchase orders, and troubleshooting FC systems.

A strong focus on safety is essential, along with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Formal trade qualification: Cert III In Electrotechnology or equivalent OR Cert III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner).
  • Industrial maintenance experience.
  • Leadership experience in supervising multi-trade teams in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing/distribution center environment.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing technicians.
  • Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.
  • Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
  • Experience in contractor management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, preventative maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs, work order management.
  • Experience of multi-contractor management.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.
  • Facility management.
