About the Role

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a skilled Rail Engineering Project Manager to lead our Sydney-based Rail Operations team. The successful candidate will work closely with technical experts to deliver a high portfolio of work across New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project objectives safely.
  • Provide support to the Project Manager in delivering project aspects within budget, time, quality, and sustainability objectives safely.
  • Mentor direct report project engineers and site engineers on the project.

About You

  • Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) or Construction Management with Chartered Professional Engineer status or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the Engineering/Construction field.
  • Knowledge of Railway Engineering Standards & Specifications, Modern Signalling Technology and Signalling Principles.
  • Experience in the Rail Industry.
  • Valid construction Green/White Card.
