Project Engineering Manager for Rail Infrastructure

Attractive salary up to $885/day + Super awaits you in this exciting Contract role. You will work on hybrid schedule with a balance of WFH and office hours at Clyde Hub. Onsite travel is required.

Purpose of the Role

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will provide technical expertise to ensure project delivery success. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders to evaluate project requirements.
  • Assisting the Program/Project Manager in preparing project documentation, including safety plans and quality plans.
  • Coodinating risk management workshops and rail safety reviews.
  • Analysing drawings and design documentation for technical accuracy.
  • Participating in tender evaluations and monitoring project progress against the project plan.

Essential criteria for this role include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrated track maintenance or construction experience, preferably in a rail environment.
  • Substantial experience in project delivery and engineering works, preferably in a rail environment.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Substantial experience in providing engineering advice and support, including functional specification development and safety in design.
