Join a dynamic healthcare team as we seek an Occupational Therapist to support our Rehabilitation Unit at Berkeley Vale Private Hospital. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with inpatients and run day programs.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital.
- Assess patients' needs and develop individualised occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum one (1) year of occupational therapy experience in a hospital setting.
- Proven ability to effectively assess, plan, and implement individualised occupational therapy treatment programs.
