The Role

We are seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team, who have industry experience, manual handling skills, and the following attributes:

  • Multiple positions available.
  • Experience managing participants who require support with complex care and high physical needs.

  • Experience in manual handling, transfers, and utilising AT equipment.
  • Experience in supporting people with physical and neurological diagnoses related to their disability.
  • Ability and adaptability to change in a person's support needs.
  • Highly desirable: Aged and Health background experience.

Mandatory Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Cert III or higher in Disability Services or 12 months' experience.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • NDIS Orientation module (NDIS Quality Safety & You).
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Manual handling Certification.
  • Administration of Medication Certification.
  • Driver's Licence.
  • Car Insurance.
  • Reliable vehicle.
  • Must be available for sleep-over shifts.
  • At least 1 year as a DSW in the NDIS sector.
  • Must have current CPR and First Aid and practice.
Additional Skillset

Desirable skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience in acquired brain injury.
  • Experience in mental health.
  • Dementia training.
  • Experience with clients having high complex behaviour.
  • Experience in Personal care.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This role also offers a range of benefits, including EAP services and flexible work hours.
