Home Care Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Worker to join our team at Australian Unity. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering in-home support services to our aged care customers, enabling them to live independently and remain within their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver in-home support services to our aged care customers, including domestic assistance, social support, and administration tasks.
- Assist customers with activities of daily living tasks based on care plans, including personal care and transportation to appointments and social outings.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to customers, as well as assistance with unassisted shopping and light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Report and document progress notes, ensuring accurate and timely communication with customers and their families.
- Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable, comprehensive insured vehicle.
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
- 12 months+ experience and/or completion of a Cert III in Individual Support, Disability, or a Nursing degree (required for Experienced Personal Care Worker only).
- Availability to work Monday to Friday within the hours of 8am - 6pm.
- Live within 15-20km radius to enjoy a convenient commute and support your local community.
