Our organisation provides rehabilitation services to individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Rehabilitation Consultant. This position will play an instrumental part in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation. They will also complete a range of assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS).

  • Developing Rehabilitation Plans: The successful candidate will work closely with clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors that impact their rehabilitation.
  • Assessment and Facilitation: The successful candidate will utilise problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: The successful candidate will engage with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors that impact their rehabilitation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy and appropriate registration with AHPRA, or Exercise Physiology with a current membership with ESSA;
  • Prior experience in occupational rehabilitation industry (minimum 12 months);
  • Sound Knowledge of the South Australian Workers compensation and CTP systems and legislations; and
  • Full Australian working rights.
