Job Description: The Australian War Memorial is a unique venue that combines a shrine, a world-class museum, and an extensive archive. As a chef in this exciting environment, you will have the opportunity to produce high-quality food using fresh produce and be creative with your culinary skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to produce quality food, use fresh produce and be creative
  • Must have qualifications or equivalent trade experience
  • HACCP and sound Food Safety knowledge
  • Prepared to work across multi-outlets including cafe service and functions/events
  • Strong knowledge of fresh local produce and products
  • Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation
  • Ability to work 5 days across a 7 day operation
  • Flexible and willing attitude, clear communication and customer service skills
