Job Title: After Hours Nurse Manager

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a After Hours Nurse Manager.
  • You will be responsible for managing a vibrant, skilled team of nurses and midwives to achieve exceptional health outcomes for some of the most vulnerable communities in NSW.
  • The ideal candidate will have current Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and appropriate qualifications in management from Post Graduate to tertiary (Masters level).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation, and the ability to motivate, inspire and manage staff to achieve service and professional goals through recognised change management processes.
  • Broad clinical experience and operational management expertise at a senior level within a health care environment, including strategic planning, the development, implementation & evaluation of organisational Strategic & Business Plans and Project Management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the role, function & funding of public hospital within the Australian and NSW Health Systems.
  • Current drivers license.

Key Requirements:
