The role of Senior Adult Occupational Therapist is an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, making a real impact in providing the best patient experience for adults in a rural setting.
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work across different areas of occupational therapy, including acute inpatient, subacute, outpatient/hand therapy, and community services. Outreach and telehealth services may also be components of your role.
This position requires discipline leadership, clinical supervision, and direct client care across case loads depending on negotiation with the Occupational Therapy Manager and staffing levels within the department.
Initiating, leading, implementing, and evaluating quality improvement initiatives, research, and service development processes are essential responsibilities of this role.
Key skills include excellent communication, negotiation, decision-making, advocacy, and constructive interaction with a diverse range of stakeholders.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about occupational therapy and has a strong desire to work in a rural setting. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
