Residential Care Manager

Job Title: Residential Care Manager.
We are seeking a compassionate and committed Residential Care Manager to lead one of our residential care homes in Bunbury. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations and create a safe, culturally respectful, and therapeutic environment for young people with complex needs.
Responsibilities:- Lead and support a team of Residential Support Workers
- Ensure the home is emotionally and physically safe, nurturing, and engaging
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and young people
- Manage care planning, transitions, and stakeholder collaboration
- Roster staff appropriately and respond to crisis situations when needed
- Facilitate team meetings, reflective supervision, and ongoing training
- Keep client records and reports up to date using CIRTS database
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in leading teams and managing day-to-day operations in a similar setting
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and build strong relationships
