Job Title: Business Development Representative

Description:

The role of a business development representative involves expanding existing relationships and establishing new partnerships with key customers, to drive revenue growth.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction through targeted marketing initiatives and fostering long-term client relationships. This position requires effective communication skills, ability to build rapport with clients, and creativity in approaching sales strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop tailored sales approaches based on market analysis and competitor intelligence.
  • Establish trust with high-profile clients by demonstrating industry knowledge and delivering value-driven solutions.
  • Present customised proposals that meet the specific needs of clients and prospects.
  • Negotiate deals while ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve timely delivery of products and services.
  • Monitor sales activities and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
  • Close deals and ensure optimal customer satisfaction levels.
  • Meet sales targets, volume, margin, and customer contact requirements.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
  • Availability for call-outs during weekdays, weekends, evenings, holidays, and extended workdays when necessary.
  • Experience in business development, account management, or outside sales (desired).
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to quickly establish strong relationships.
  • Ability to analyze data for informed sales decisions.
  • Effective negotiation skills and success in closing deals.
  • Strong organisational skills for managing multiple accounts.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office; experience with POS/CRM systems is beneficial.
