Job Title: Production Stage Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Production Stage Manager to lead the coordination and smooth delivery of a touring production.

This short-term contract will cover all phases of the production – from pre-production and rehearsals through to touring and final performances at small venues.

About the Role:
  • Proven experience as a Production Stage Manager, ideally with touring productions.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills under pressure.
  • Ability to work within a small team.
  • Technical knowledge of lighting, sound, staging, and OH&S practices.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving ability.
  • Adaptability to diverse venues and changing conditions.
  • A current driver's licence is required (First Aid certification is desirable).

Candidates must be available full time from January 19th to March 3rd and have reasonable availability for some hours of pre-rehearsal work for pre-planning with the team.

What We're Looking For

As a successful candidate, you will possess a strong understanding of production management principles and practices. You will be able to effectively communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of the production.

You will also need to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to work well under pressure.
