Job Role: We are seeking an Air Operations Coordinator to oversee the handling and screening of Amazon freight, communicate status updates and delays, and identify opportunities to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage air freight and airway bill labelling as required.
  • Support booking of air freight and conduct deep dives to resolve issues.
  • Monitor air routes for potential issues that could impact performance.
  • Develop reporting templates to capture key metrics including arrival time, dispatch, rejections, and delays.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of safety, customer obsession, and ownership.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate-level knowledge of Excel (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.).
  • Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements.
  • Ability to use good judgement in challenging situations.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (including email management, report writing, and ability to prepare and analyze data).
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of relevant program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with SQL highly desirable.
  • Fulfill government background checks to qualify for an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card).
