Role Overview

This role is a key position within the adidas organization, focused on driving strategic talent acquisition efforts across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Job

The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead the recruitment process from onset through offer, as well as drive broader strategic talent acquisition topics within a function or market. This includes partnering with Universities and Ministries to create a strong PAC talent pool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Process Management: Lead the entire recruitment process, including requisition approval, hiring manager briefing, job advertising, candidate sourcing, application review, candidate screening, interview strategy, and offer process.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategies: Apply and adapt broader talent acquisition strategies (employer branding, internal recruiting, diversity) within your designated function or market.
  • Global Initiatives: Act as a key point of contact to support the implementation of global initiatives across Emerging Markets within PAC.
  • Candidate Marketing: Leverage relevant advertising resources and apply other relevant candidate marketing strategies to create local, regional, and global awareness to attract qualified applications for key roles.
  • Sourcing Channels: Utilize candidate databases (internal and external) as well as other sourcing channels (university, competitive research, job fairs, social media) to identify prospective candidates and create awareness about open positions.
  • Candidate Engagement: Build, engage, and maintain pre-qualified and prospective candidate pools of strong former candidates and new candidates within the functional area.
  • Hiring Manager Support: Conduct weekly check-ins with active candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruiting process for each role.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning meetings with functional/market leadership and key business partners of all levels to understand current and upcoming requirements and build a strategy on effective recruitment activities.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Conduct quarterly review meetings with business leaders and key business partners to provide an overview of recruiting achievements and opportunities to improve hiring performance.
  • Collaboration: Partner with HRBP at offer stage in the recruitment life cycle and manage the relationship with the candidate to close the position.
  • Sharing Knowledge: Collaborate with recruiting and sourcing colleagues to share candidates and jobs to encourage a collaborative hiring process.
  • Utilizing Recruitment Systems: Effectively utilize recruitment systems following key standards, documenting key actions, recommending improvements, and ensuring all data is accurate for reporting purposes.
  • Boss Branding: Actively lead the Employer Branding initiatives in PAC, built to position Adidas as the employer of choice in your region.
  • Upskilling Hiring Managers: Upskill, support, and train our hiring managers to always improve their interviewing and talent acquisition skills.

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with:

  • Relevant University Degree: Relevant University Degree Preferred.
  • Technology Proficiency: Strong proficiency with technology and grasping new technology solutions.
  • Employer Branding Expertise: Track record of leading end-to-end Employer Branding initiatives.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Strong track record of driving a holistic recruiting strategy and global recruiting initiatives (i.e., proactive recruiting, internal recruiting, diversity, etc.) and achieving goals.
  • Data Driven Decision Making: Strong ability to leverage data & analytics to support recruiting efforts and business planning decisions.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a recruiter within an agency or corporate environment including 2 years gaining expertise in a functional/market area.
  • Partnership Building: High level of partnership and collaboration with business leaders in your area of responsibility to drive proactive talent acquisition planning.
