Job Description:

We seek an experienced Senior Tax Manager to collaborate with our Partners and expand our Corporate Tax team by three times over the next five years. As a key member of our team, you will provide complex transactional tax advice to diverse clients across various industries, both domestically and internationally.

You will work closely with Directors and Partners to solve intricate technical issues and assist with ATO controversy matters related to complex tax issues. Your expertise will be highly respected within the division and firm for its quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Partners to develop and implement tax strategies for large listed and global clients.
  • Provide expert tax compliance services, including CbC reporting.
  • Solve complex technical issues with guidance from Directors and Partners.
  • Assist with ATO controversy matters for complex tax issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and junior staff members.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years' experience in Australian Tax, preferably in a Big 4, large mid-tier, or corporate role.
  • Relevant tertiary degree and one or more post-graduate qualifications (CA, CTA, or Master's of Tax preferred).
  • Proven managerial experience in a prior tax advisory role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to coordinate, multitask, and prioritize work effectively.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Estimated Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
