Job Title: Senior Tax Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Strategist to support the Group Head of Tax in managing all direct and indirect tax matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing current and deferred tax calculations for statutory reporting purposes.
  • Preparation and completion of relevant tax compliance and reporting obligations.
  • Supporting the finance team with month-end processes, including tax journal preparation and account reconciliations.
  • Coordinating and forecasting tax payments for the group.
  • Providing tax advice to the business, partnering with the broader finance team to review and streamline systems and processes.
Requirements:

Key Qualifications:

  • Professional tax experience from Big 4 and/or ASX-listed commercial environment, particularly in financial services.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax, tax reporting, and tax effect accounting.
  • CA or equivalent qualification.
