About the Opportunity

A leading luxury fashion brand is seeking an experienced Senior Merchandise Planner to lead its strategic growth initiatives in Sydney. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in merchandise planning and a proven track record of driving growth through data-driven insights.

About You

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in merchandise planning within the luxury or premium fashion sector.
  • You possess expertise in open-to-buy management, financial forecasting, and profit and loss oversight.
  • You are skilled in interpreting sales data and using insights to inform high-level decisions.
  • You have demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
  • You are familiar with international supply chains and local production workflows.
  • You possess advanced proficiency in planning tools, inventory management systems, and Excel.
  • You have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the open-to-buy process, aligning sales, stock, and profit targets across markets. You will deliver actionable insights on sales, gross profit, and inventory performance, driving improvement strategies. You will also oversee planning for both locally produced and internationally sourced collections, optimizing inventory levels while maintaining the brand's luxury image.
