Environmental Education Centre Opportunity

The Amaroo Environmental Education Centre is seeking a dynamic and flexible teacher to deliver immersive, curriculum-aligned outdoor learning experiences for visiting student groups.

This role involves setting up and packing down interactive workshops and activities each day, often in physically active environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering programs that inspire respect for nature and a sense of place, while maintaining a safe learning environment through active risk management.

We are looking for a passionate educator who can work collaboratively within a small team and build strong relationships with visiting teachers, schools, and community partners. About the Role:

  • Deliver curriculum-linked environmental education programs to a wide range of year levels and student groups
  • Set up and pack down materials and equipment to support engaging outdoor and indoor learning experiences
  • Maintain a safe learning environment through active risk management and First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
  • Work collaboratively within a small team and build strong relationships with visiting teachers, schools, and community partners

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Full or provisional QCT registration
  • Australian working rights or valid visa
  • First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
