About the Position

In this leadership role, you will oversee the implementation and management of mental health initiatives within the local Indigenous community. Your focus will be on developing strategies to address disparities in healthcare access and outcomes for Indigenous populations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership in implementing and managing mental health programs for Indigenous communities.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to address disparities in healthcare access and outcomes for Indigenous populations.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders and organizations to build relationships and secure funding and resources for initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as public health, social work or psychology.
  • Proven experience in program management and leadership roles, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Strong understanding of Indigenous cultural practices and perspectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
