Assist in the maintenance and construction/installation of trackside Systems equipment and systems, and proactively seek the skills and knowledge require to excel in your chosen trade.
- Assist with the maintenance and construction/installation of Trackside Systems equipment and systems.
- Participate in the maintenance and construction/installation work programs that are developed in accordance with business needs.
- Maintain records relating to asset condition, maintenance programs and costing systems.

With 4000km of regional track, Queensland Rail have endless opportunities for you to support exciting, innovative projects to ensure our network is safe and reliable for our customers, communities and industries. Here's just some of what you could be working on:

- Kuranda Range (Cairns) stabilisation project - there will be helicopter usage to access remote sections of track
- Central West line bridge replacement program replacing 16 bridges and repairing 44.
- Portsmith (Cairns) level crossing upgrade. This is part of a broader program of work consisting of 18 level crossing upgrades across the Regional business
- Townsville to Cairns Track Renewal
- Yamba track lowering & formation strengthening
