As a Van Delivery Operator at Australia Post, you'll be playing a vital role in connecting Australians every day. With our fleet of vans, you'll be the face of our trusted business, serving your community and delivering excellence.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Van Delivery Operator. You will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our vans, ensuring timely delivery of mail and parcels to our customers. You'll work autonomously out on the road, interacting with others and being a team player.

  • Safely perform and operate a van to perform duties such as picking up mail from Street Posting Boxes, Corporate Offices, Licensed Post Offices, and Delivery Centres.
  • Pick up mail and parcel items from our customers.
  • Unload mail articles from vans and manually sorting them into small or large letters and parcels, including express posts.
  • Complete your own daily vehicle safety check.
  • Be paired up with our experienced senior drivers who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development.
About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A full or probationary Australian driver's licence.
  • To successfully pass our mandatory and practical driving assessment.
  • To be flexible with working additional hours if required.
  • To have a great memory, excellent attention to detail, and be able to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly.
  • To meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. You'll also receive a range of benefits, including:
