Long-Term Care Resident Manager

The RN Long-Term Care Manager is accountable for ensuring accurate and timely documentation of resident assessments and care plans in accordance with company standards, federal regulations, and local guidelines.
Responsibilities- Lead the RAI process and submission by validating reports (Electronic Health Data Submission), monitoring and maintaining data accuracy.
- Plan, develop, organize, and communicate assessment and care plan information to staff to optimize resident care.
- Oversee skilled and Medicaid statuses to maximize reimbursement.
- Participate in care conferences and remain available during surveys and audits.
- Assist with insurance appeals by reviewing MDS-coded documentation and verifying consistency.
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution required.
- Current unencumbered Ohio license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Five years of experience with Minimum Data Set (MDS) required.
- Two years of supervisory experience required.
- Three years of nursing experience in long-term care facilities required.
- Two years of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices required.
